For those of you who do not know already... as a project for the club... and I have decided club members should create a Yuffietine comic. Now you can choose whether or not you want to be part of the experience. This is not something I am forcing members to do! This is only for members who WANT to do this. There is no limit to how many members can work on this either.

DEADLINE

hey everyone,
since there is a huge lag on the comic for quite some time now, we (administrators) decided that it will be best to put a deadline on the project. i know most of you do not like it, but its really the only way for all of you to get their share.
so here is how its gonna be:

writers will get one week to write one page
pencilers will get one week to draw one page
colorers will get one week to color one page

editors will get 3 days to edit a page
inkers will get 3 days to ink the page
letterers will get 3 days to put letters inside

if you cant meet the deadline we will pick up the next writer/penciler/colorist in line. however if you show us that you are half done with the project we can give you additional 4 days to finish.

now.. i know this sounds a bit rough on our side but think of the next people in line who want to do this too. if we kept this with an unlimited amount of time it would never be done. please understand.

also we will be writing a short synopsis on the first chapter upon which we agreed all in chatroom, so that writers can have some guidance on the following events.

and in the tips and tricks journal you will be able to find an example for writing a script, so please be sure to check that out too.

if there are those who don't want to draw, write,color, or edit, but they want to be a part of the team, we need inkers and letterers as well.

inkers people who ink over other people's pencils, with either mechanical pen or photoshop pen. (or pen in whichever other program they choose)

letterers people who put text into word baloons.
(i will soon make an quick explanation on how to easily make word baloons in photoshop, and post some samples which you will be able to use.) note that proabably you will be working with several teams, since lettering doesn't take up too much time, but if you dont want to work with more than 2 teams you are free to choose

1.) What is this exactly? Well, to be clear I am going to be assigning members things to work on. For example, if you like to draw backgrounds then for our first page to the comic perhaps I would assign you to work on the background of a page while I assign someone else to draw the characters on the page. OR if you prefer to work on a page entirely on your own then I could assign you to work on the entire page.

2.) Is this a contest or do I get a gift or prize for taking part in this? NO! You DO NOT get a prize. This is NOT a contest. This is all voluntary on your part.

3.) Why should I take part in this? Because it's an experience. It would be fun! It's also a chance for you to get to know other club members seeing as we'll have to talk to one another to work on the collaboration. PLUS every time the club comes out with a new page it will be posted up in our club's gallery and a link to the page will be distributed to all members. Kind of like receiving newspaper.

4.) Can I not take part in this if I'm not an artist? You CAN take part in this, even if you're not someone who draws. I encourage writers, colorists, editors, etc. to join in on the fun! We will need all sorts of creativity for this!!

5.) If I decide to take part in this, will I have to work on this all the time?No. It's your choice how much you want to do. If you'd like to simply work on one page that's entirely up to you. The whole point of collaborating is to share in the responsibilites with the comic.
